Recently Nokia held it’s “Nokia World 2007″ conference in Amsterdam, the Finnish Mobile giant used it as a platform to declare that they were going to increase revenue over the next year, despite admitting that mobile phone prices were coming down.

The mobile manufacturer has predicted an operating profit of 16 to 17 percent within two years. Up from 15 percent predicted a year ago. All this despite that they believe mobile phone prices were coming down. Obviously the press and industry peers were sceptical with Nicolas von Stackelberg, an analyst asking, “it’s hard to see where you can generate additional revenue…Expectations had been running high before this event and there’s nothing earth-shattering.”
